Mothers' Union

The Mothers' Union has 3.6 million members in 78 countries working locally and supporting the worldwide work.

The vision of the MU is of a world where God’s love is shown through loving, respectful and flourishing relationships.

The work of the MU ranges from knitting  clothes for premature babies to empowering women in third world countries to fully participate in society.

The MU regularly participates in the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women.

WOW! What a mission! A bit like the TARDIS more on the inside than on the out! The best news is that you do not have to be a mother to join and they welcome men as well!

St. Luke's no longer has an active branch of the MU. However, many members still belong.
